Ini adalah kabar gembira bagi teman-teman yang kurang menyukai alamat URL profil kamu di Facebook menggunakan nomor ID dalam format PHP, dan akhirnya Facebook memperbolehkan, atau lebih tepatnya menggunakan, sebuah username untuk dijadikan sebagai 'Simply URL' tiap profilmu di Facebook.Kita ketahui, alamat URL profil kita di Facebook pada umumnya memiliki format sbb:
1) Aprillio Latuminggi => www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1496488444 , atau
2) Aprillio Latuminggi => www.facebook.com/people/Aprillio-Latuminggi/1496488444
Nah, mulai pada tanggal 13 Juni 2009 format yang ada di atas akan disederhanakan dengan menggunakan Facebook Usernames. Fitur ini memudahkan kita dalam mempromosikan profil kita di Facebook cukup dengan memberikan alamat URL profil kita dengan tambahan yang tampak seperti halnya kita mempunyai sebuah folder tersendiri di domain Facebook.com (www.facebook.com/username)
Misalnya saya yang menggunakan username: latuminggi , maka URL profil saya di Facebook akan menjadi:
www.facebook.com/latuminggi
